Privacy Policy

At The Safety Signal Method, your privacy is important. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

Last Updated: August 23, 2026

The Safety Signal Method ("TSSM," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, stored, and shared when you visit safetysignalmethod.com, purchase or use our products or services, participate in coaching, or use the TSSM AI Recovery Coach.

Please read this Privacy Policy before using our services.

1. Information We Collect

  • Your name and email address

  • Account and membership information

  • Information submitted through contact, signup, intake, or other forms

  • Information related to purchases, subscriptions, or transactions

  • Information you voluntarily provide about your health, symptoms, recovery experiences, goals, or personal circumstances

  • Communications you send to us

  • Conversations with the AI Recovery Coach, including text conversations and transcripts of voice interactions when applicable

  • Technical and usage information, which may include IP address, browser or device information, cookies, pages visited, and interactions with the website or services

Please provide only information that you are comfortable having processed as described in this Privacy Policy.

2. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • Provide and operate The Safety Signal Method website, products, coaching, and AI Recovery Coach

  • Create and manage accounts and memberships

  • Process purchases and subscriptions

  • Respond to inquiries and provide customer support

  • Communicate with you about services you request

  • Personalize your experience and provide relevant recovery guidance

  • Maintain conversation history and continuity when supported by the AI Recovery Coach

  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and secure our services

  • Understand how our website and services are being used

  • Comply with applicable legal requirements

  • Evaluate or improve our services when permitted as described below

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We do, however, use third-party service providers that process information as necessary to provide and operate our website and services.

3. AI Recovery Coach and Delphi AI

The TSSM AI Recovery Coach uses technology provided by Delphi AI, Inc. ("Delphi").

When you use the AI Recovery Coach, information you submit is processed by Delphi in order to generate responses and provide the service. This may include your account or profile information, conversation content, and information you voluntarily disclose during conversations.

Because the Recovery Coach is designed to discuss chronic symptoms and recovery, you may choose to provide information concerning your health, symptoms, medical experiences, emotional experiences, or other personal matters. You are not required to provide more information than you are comfortable sharing.

Delphi independently processes information in accordance with its own Privacy Policy and applicable terms. Delphi's practices, including its collection, use, disclosure, security, and retention of information, are governed by Delphi's policies and are not controlled solely by The Safety Signal Method.

You can review the Delphi Privacy Policy for additional information about Delphi's data practices.

4. Conversations With the AI Recovery Coach

Conversations with the AI Recovery Coach may be stored by Delphi and associated with your account or profile.

The Safety Signal Method's administrator, Jonathan Seiler, may have technical access through the Delphi creator platform to information associated with users and their conversations, including account or profile information, email addresses where available, conversation transcripts, and summaries or other information made available by Delphi.

We do not intend to routinely read users' private conversations simply because they are available. Conversations may be accessed when reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide customer or technical support

  • Respond to a user's request

  • Investigate problems with the service

  • Address security, misuse, or safety concerns

  • Comply with legal obligations

  • Perform evaluation, improvement, or research when the user has separately consented to such use as described below

Because administrator access is technically possible, you should not treat conversations with the AI Recovery Coach as communications that are visible only to you and the AI.

5. Voice Conversations

If voice functionality is available and you choose to use it, your spoken interaction may be processed by Delphi and converted into a text transcript.

Transcripts of voice conversations may be stored with your conversation history and may be accessible to The Safety Signal Method in the same manner as text conversations.

Additional processing of voice or audio information by Delphi is governed by Delphi's own policies and terms.

6. Health and Sensitive Information

The AI Recovery Coach is intended to provide educational and recovery-oriented support, and users may voluntarily discuss symptoms, health experiences, emotional experiences, or other sensitive subjects.

Please do not submit information that you do not want processed through an AI service.

Whenever possible, avoid providing unnecessary identifying information or highly sensitive details, such as Social Security numbers, financial account information, passwords, government identification numbers, or other information that is not needed for your use of the service.

The Safety Signal Method and the AI Recovery Coach are not emergency services. The AI Recovery Coach is not intended to replace appropriate medical care, diagnosis, treatment, psychotherapy, or emergency assistance.

7. Optional Consent for Conversation Review, Improvement, and Research

The Safety Signal Method may offer you the opportunity to separately consent to allowing Jonathan Seiler or The Safety Signal Method to review and use your AI Recovery Coach conversations for purposes such as evaluating the coach, improving its guidance, understanding how users interact with the program, or conducting research related to improving The Safety Signal Method.

This consent is optional.

You do not need to provide this consent to use the AI Recovery Coach, and declining consent will not prevent you from receiving the service.

Where this optional consent is requested:

  • It will be presented separately from consent required to use the service.

  • It will not be preselected on your behalf.

  • You may withdraw your consent for future TSSM review or use by contacting us at jonathan@safetysignalmethod.com.

  • Withdrawal of consent will not necessarily reverse uses of information that occurred before your request was received.

This optional consent concerns The Safety Signal Method's own review and use of conversations for these additional purposes. It does not control processing independently performed by Delphi in accordance with Delphi's Privacy Policy and terms.

8. De-Identified and Aggregated Information

When information is used by The Safety Signal Method for evaluation, improvement, or research under an applicable consent, we may remove or replace direct identifiers such as a person's name or email address when reasonably practicable.

We may use de-identified or aggregated information to understand common questions, experiences, patterns, or areas where the AI Recovery Coach or The Safety Signal Method could be improved.

De-identification is intended to reduce the likelihood that information can be connected to a particular individual, but no method of de-identification can guarantee that re-identification will be impossible.

Delphi may separately create and use aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized information according to its own Privacy Policy.

9. Website Hosting and Other Service Providers

Our website is hosted through Wix.com. Wix provides website hosting and may provide functions including membership accounts, forms, databases, communications, analytics, subscriptions, and payment-related services.

Information submitted through the website may therefore be processed or stored through Wix and its service providers.

We may also use other companies to provide services such as:

  • Payment processing

  • Email delivery and communications

  • Website hosting and infrastructure

  • Analytics

  • Security and fraud prevention

  • Scheduling or coaching-related services

  • AI and technology services

These providers may process information as necessary to perform services on our behalf and are subject to their own applicable privacy policies, contractual obligations, and legal requirements.

You can review the Wix Privacy Policy for additional information about Wix's data practices.

10. Payments

Payments for products, subscriptions, or services may be processed by Wix or third-party payment processors.

The Safety Signal Method does not need to receive or store your complete payment-card number when payment information is handled directly by the applicable payment processor. Payment providers may collect billing and transaction information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

11. Cookies and Website Analytics

Our website and its service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, maintain security, understand website usage, and provide analytics.

Depending on your location and the technologies in use, you may have options to manage cookies through our website's cookie controls or through your browser settings.

12. Data Storage and Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain business and transaction records, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with applicable legal requirements.

Information stored by third-party providers may be retained according to those providers' own policies and legal obligations.

In particular, conversations and related information processed through the AI Recovery Coach may be retained by Delphi according to Delphi's retention practices. Delphi does not provide The Safety Signal Method with control over every aspect of Delphi's independent retention practices.

For that reason, we do not promise that all AI conversation data will automatically be deleted after a specific fixed period.

Where we are able to honor a valid deletion request, we will take reasonable steps to delete or request deletion of applicable information, subject to legal, security, technical, contractual, and legitimate record-retention requirements.

13. How We Share Information

We may disclose information:

  • To service providers that help us operate our website or provide our services

  • To Delphi in connection with providing the AI Recovery Coach

  • To Wix and its applicable service providers in connection with operating the website

  • To payment, communications, analytics, hosting, security, or other providers as reasonably necessary

  • When reasonably necessary to protect our rights, users, services, or security

  • When required or permitted by law, legal process, or governmental request

  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, sale, restructuring, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to applicable law

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

14. Data Security

We take reasonable measures intended to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

However, no website, internet transmission, AI service, database, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You provide information through our website and services with this understanding.

15. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal information.

You may contact us to request that we:

  • Provide information about personal information we maintain about you

  • Provide a copy of certain personal information

  • Correct or update inaccurate information

  • Delete certain personal information

  • Address questions about how your information is being used

  • Withdraw optional consent previously given to The Safety Signal Method for conversation review, improvement, or research

Some requests may be subject to identity verification and exceptions permitted or required by law. Certain information may also need to be retained for legitimate business, security, contractual, or legal reasons.

Information controlled independently by Delphi, Wix, payment processors, or other providers may also be subject to those companies' privacy-request procedures.

To make a privacy request, contact jonathan@safetysignalmethod.com.

16. Children's Privacy

The Safety Signal Method's services, including the AI Recovery Coach, are not intended for children under 18.

We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 18 through the AI Recovery Coach. If we learn that a child has provided personal information in violation of this policy, we will take reasonable steps to address the information as appropriate.

17. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to websites or services operated by other organizations. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites or services, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing information.

18. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, technology, providers, or legal obligations change.

When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. If changes are significant, we may provide additional notice when appropriate.
